Weston Pier burned down yesterday. It was the last of the great Victorian pleasure piers built here in the UK. It was Weston in a way. And now it's gone.

The walkway part of the pier itself is still there, as is the end part but the entire building is gone. As it was Victorian, it was all built of wood and took about an hour and a half to burn.

It was just a building, but it was much loved. Apparently the people of Weston stood watching and cried.

It's not on the scale of the bush fires in California or anything, but it's close to home you know? It was somewhere I'd spent a lot of time either on or driving past and it's just, upsetting.

By some freak accident of Dad failing at both German and the internet at the same time, he managed to book us tickets to the German Premiere of Prince Caspian instead of the Ritterturnier (held at the same place).

Never been to a premiere before as usually they're held in posh places, but this one was held outside in Kaltenburg Arena on a huge screen and it was AWESOME. I've seen the film before - my German isn't good enough to have understod the film without subtitles and even then 8| - but nnnngghhhhhhhh it was fun. The audience actually applauded when Peter stabbed King Miraz in the chest ^^

The German CEO of Walt Disney was there and the actors for Peter and Susan were there and Prince Luitpold (I'm not sure whether he's a Prince or a Duke, but I could've sworn he was introduced as Prinz Luitpold) who owns the castle and arena at Kaltenburg, which is also a brewery, introduced it and wow. For some reason I wasn't expecting important people to be there! You'd've thought that the premiere would've been up in Berlin, but nope!

It was really something :) Even though everything from mid-thigh down went dead!

You know how cats bring their owners home a present, often in the form of a bird, rabbit or a mouse? Well my cat's just come hurtling through the cat flap clutching a meal worm.

I've realised that before the exams finished, vegetating for a week on my sofa with the TV and Archie for company would have been Heaven on Earth. Now having done it... I'm bored. SO A SPENDING SPREE WAS IN ORDER and I got a new PS2 game called "Devil Kings". It's set in the Warring States period in Japan but when it was translated into English, not only did they cut half the playable characters, they also changed their names ARGH.

Oda Nobunaga is now 'Devil King' and poor Mori Ranmaru is called 'Hornet'... America, I hate your translation.

That gave me a headache because I forgot to drink ;___; so A NEW PASTIME IS IN ORDER!!

I decided to make Kazekage Sandaime (about two years too late as I'm thinking of going to London Expo as Kakuzu this year) but still, I felt creative :D

I messed up though, I got too panicky and forgot that one of the statues was bronze. 15 marks out of 50 gone, but whatever ^___^ It's entirely too late now to change it. It's not so much that I'll be disappointed if I don't get an A I will I'm such an overachiever it's just that I know I didn't do as well as I could have and that's what annoys me.

Has anyone else's hayfever started up yet? Mine has -___- and I itched my eye in my German exam BIG MISTAKE. It was horrid and Mr Hardie appeared after I asked him for a tissue with an entire loo roll and a silly expression *rolls*

Also, I fail in a major way at living. I had to ring my mum and ask her what light thingie I was waiting for to switch off to tell me that the oven was hot enough to put the chicken in. Answer procured, I advance on the fridge to find said chicken. There she is, in a two-piece... thing. I have no idea what the jesus I'm supposed to do with this funny lookin' saucepan and decide to just put the whole thing in the oven.

I bet it's wrong and I've done something really dumb.

Should I be this worried over an oven and a chicken?

Did anyone else notice that suddenly Mikoto was being really naggy bitch and Daddy Uchiha (his name escapes me ahahahahaha) was all spaced out and happy? In the other Uchiha flashbacks, it was the other way around, right? And ahahahaha sulky mini-Sasuke was sooooooooo cute! I wish to know what happened to Itachi's body, Kisame and Team super special awesome Hebi/Eagle while all the Uchiha-angst was going on. I hope Kisame's ok ;___; By the suspicious lack of wounds on Suigetsu, I'm guessing they just sat down and had tea and cake. There's no way Kisame would've been killed without mashing Suigetsu up a lot, unless they poisoned his tea and cake D:

OH GOOD LORD MRS BELL IS GOING TO KILL ME WITH FIRE AND I CARE NOT A JOT :DDDDDD

We had to write an essay about who is the more interesting character, Odysseus (Odyssey) or Aeneas (Aeneid) and I hate Aeneas' whinywhinywhiny. Mrs Bell is in love with Aeneas. Therein lies my problem of DEATH BY FIRE.

Basic gist of this truly awesome essay:

INTRO: waffle as I try to remember to be objective and not call Aeneas a whiny bitch.
1ST PARAGRAPH: Intelligent waffle on the meaning of the word interesting, without calling Aeneas a whiny bitch.
MAIN BODY OF ESSAY: burble giving examples of both heroes being interesting without calling Aeneas a whiny bitch.
CONCLUSION: Me dancing around the fact that my ENTIRE justification that Odysseus is more interesting is that he doesn't bitch and whine as much as Aeneas, has narcelepsy and does really stupid things. I then attempt to be nice about Aeneas having 'feelings' and the fact that he's got 'depth' and 'moral dilemmas' and refrain from telling Aeneas to shut up, grow a pair of testicles and get on with his goddamn mission and stop WHINING.

I can safely say the essay will be a resounding E :D

My dog is such a retard -___- He stole an entire dark chocolate Easter egg and ate it. Chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is poisonous to dogs because there's a chemical in it that makes them have seizures and they can die. Luckily even though Merlin had to go to the vet to have charcoal pumped into his tummy (to try and absorb the poison) they reckon he'll be ok. The worst thing was he had to stay overnight ;___; I miss him. He's supposed to be coming home today, but mum and Teem are nowhere to be seen. Either they've gone shopping, fallen though a plot hole or taken Merlin for a THANK GOD YOU'RE BETTER YA EEJIT walk. Maybe a combination of the three knowing my family.

I have done sod all this holiday. So I'd better actually start my revision ohoho. In case you are mildly curious, here is my list:

Near my house there are some fuel tanks that until a few years ago hadn't been used since WWII. However they reopened them and started storing kerosene there, which is quite bad at catching fire, but when you pump fuel under pressure, it gets hot and if the unthinkable happens, i.e. BOOM, we will have to run at 2.5 metres per second whilst on fire to maybe escape. I don't know haw far we'll have to run, but seeing as WE'LL BE ON FIRE I don't think it matters ;___; My whole road is in the red zone D:

In slightly less ARMAGEDDON type news, mum arrived home beaming today bringing with her a doll's head for my Kakuzu cosplay XD It's really quite amusing ♥ Now I must locate the paint as Hidan does not = Barbie XDDDDDDDDDDD But I'll be taking before and after photos because it amuses me so much ohoho Also I asked Sabiha if she would teach me how to tie a headscarf like she does and she gave me the weirdest look ^^; I then explained that it was for Naruto and she looked at me slightly less weirdly and agreed XD She might even be wandering with us to London Expo yay!

I've just noticed that Barbie!Hidan has pierced ears ahahahahahahahaha maybe PIRATE EARINGS SHALL ENSUE!

Being a short-sighted retard fails XD I managed to wash my hair with the shower gel instead of my own shampoo AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA So mum and I laughed our heads off and then she washed my hair for me like I was 5 :D Then it floofed correctly and all was well.

Old Testament!God: Is far more awesome than New Testament!God. In the OT, there are pillars of fire and people turning into salt and god getting ticked off with people and smiting them forthwith, but the NT is boring :D

The Pope: Hatty and I went to Italy and even though we didn't get to see him, we were obsessed and bought little medallions and I bought a calendar and she bought a Pope guide :D When we took a photo of the calendar, there was a SHINING LIGHT from his head ahahahahahahaha. It was fun.

Even though Hatty and I discussed me getting a DSLite, I didn't really want one, however yesterday I managed somehow to convince my dad to buy me one. No, I also have no idea how I pulled that one off. The best reason I can come up with is that Dad was tired and wanted out of the shop right now prease. I bought the game though :D I am a scab, but not that much of one. *shrugs* OH WELL YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I've started my note-taking for history coursework and now I know more about Napoleon Bonaparte than I did before. However I am now distracted and have gone off at a wild tangent from Napoleon to nursery rhymes :P Ah Wikipedia, you make homework just that smidgen more interesting 8D

Earlier I went on a walk avec hound in the, as it turned out, vain hope of taking some photos. It was blowing a GALE along the cliff path so I had to duck my head and breathe out at a certain angle because if I looked where I was going, then my breath was blown back onto my glasses and they STEAMED UP *cue mad flailing and giggling from Fi*. The light was going as well, so I ran home because my hearing has imagination and was insisting that mad axemen were following me. I did take a short and pointless film of Merlin fetching his toy in a field though, so the trip wasn't wasted :D I played it back just now and when I called his name on the film he sat up and bashed his head on the corner of the laptop! Everyone say "aaaw" :D

Now I must begin my German coursework on Hitler YAY. I seem to have an obsession with megalomaniacs 8DDDDDDDDDDD
